Ehrlich Done with Politics

After losing his rematch with Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley (D), former Gov. Robert Ehrlich (R) told the Annapolis Capital that he "is not interested in pursuing another state or federal office in Maryland but hopes to keep a voice in politics."

"Republicans had high hopes heading into this year's elections but the red national tide largely broke on Maryland borders. O'Malley ended up beating Ehrlich by more than 14 percent in what initially was projected as a neck-and-neck race."
